How We Teach
The way we teach depends on the student, the situation, and the specific needs of each student. Tutoring takes place either in one of our ∑ngenius Learning Centers or online for students who cannot make it to the center. Whether online or in-person, we control the learning environment and reliably provide the tutoring experience your child needs to be successful.
Our students typically have a set schedule that they can attend for one to two hours, one to four days per week. We are open right after school and stay open into the evening to accommodate the busiest students and athletes. There are many different ways to tutor children, but with nearly 30 years of teaching experience, we have found that our system provides for the best long-term development.

Staying Up-to-Date
As classrooms become digitized, we must keep up with the times and create a blend of traditional paper and pencil learning with the use of digital devices. We are finding that electronic delivery of content is in line with the way students are taught, but we still require that thinking and work be done on paper. This means your child is comfortable in a familiar learning environment and we still have the opportunity to problem-solve. This blended learning approach gives kids exactly what they need to be successful.
For online tutoring, we use video conferencing and a shared whiteboard that allows our students and tutors to work on the same problem at the same time.
